"Exploring the inside of a body, removing its vital organs... The social spaces that had once been privy to secrets and argumants and love and despair had been petrified, making amateur archaeologists od the onlookers, who could only reconstruct the past uses of each room and stairwell from the tiny fossilised fragmants that were left, captured in the concrete like prehistoric mosquitoes in resin."

"The passage of my time (my history) leaves behind a residue that accumulates: photographs, drawings, the corpses of long since dried-up pens, shirts, no-returnable glasses and returnable glasses, cigar wrappers, tins, erasers, postcards, books, dust and kickknacks: this is what I call my fortune."

'Species of Spaces and Other Pieces'- George Perec

Remnants of the second world war are scattered across the architecture of London, reminding us of the action that took place in the city.

As a child i grew up in several countries which provided me with an awareness and appreciation for different cultures and traditions. This has provided me with a backbone to my present understanding and love for art and design. My work now engages, plays and experiments with scale, colour, composition and texture. Ideas and themes i find inspirational are: Psychogeography, documentary, domesticity and the home, fantasy, nostalgia, memories, old and new, architecture, countryside versus city, dreaming - asleep or awake.
